The state of Minnesota is home to nearly 700 facilities that produce or store fertilizer and all are inspected and permitted by the Dept. of Agriculture.

Man Arrested in Shakopee Shooting, 1 Man Killed

A 27-year-old suspect has been arrested in a shooting Thursday night that killed a 19-year-old Shakopee High School student.

Steven Andre Moore, of Minneapolis, has been arrested, Shakopee police reported. Two other suspects are being sought.

Shakopee Man Charged with Food Stamp Fraud

A 47-year-old Shakopee man has been charged with fraudulently using food stamps.

Charging documents from the U.S. States Attorney say Chin Son Kim defrauded the Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program (SNAP) out of nearly $30,000 from November 2010 to July 2012.
